The Grand Forks County Historical Society’s mission is to contribute to a fuller understanding and appreciation of the history of Grand Forks County, its 13 communities and the surrounding region. The Society collects and preserves artifacts and documents significant to the area’s history from the time of exploration and settlement to the present day. The Society makes this collection available to scholars and students of history. It also operates a museum complex and carries out a program of public exhibits and events of interest to individuals of all ages.


Location

The Grand Forks County Historical Society is located at 2405 Belmont Road in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Hours of Operation

The grounds are available to tour from May 15 to September 15. Tours are conducted from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the week including weekends. During the winter the Myra Museum is open by appointment only, but please call as we are more than happy to help you.

Admission and Fees

Admission is $5 for persons age 16 and older and $3 for children age 10-15. Children under 10 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
